SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCED FOR HISTORY CITY XMAS WEEKEND

We are very pleased to announce that singer/songwriter Jonathan Carr will join Hue and Cry as their special guest for the History City Xmas Weekend full band show on Saturday 19 December. Hailing from North Lanarkshire, Jonathan developed his song writing talent at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. His unique brand of pop, underpinned with a hint of jazz and soul is sure to go down well with all Hue and Cry fans.  

HUE AND CRY ON STV SHOW - THE HOUR

Pat and Greg will be appearing on Scottish lifestyle show ‘The Hour’ on Scottish Television (STV) this evening (Friday 11 December) where they will be chatting to hosts Michelle McManus and Stephen Jardine and performing a special acoustic track. The Hour is broadcast on STV from 5pm – if you miss it or don’t have access to STV, both the interview and performance will be available to view online at stv.com following the broadcast.  

HUE AND CRY LIVE ON BBC RADIO LONDON

Hue and Cry will be live on BBC Radio London today at approximately 2.30pm this afternoon.

They will be chatting to presenter Robert Elms about their new Xmasday album, the upcoming History City Xmas Weekend, and performing an acoustic version of ‘Players Of Games’. You can tune in on 94.9FM if you are in the area, or listen online.

Hue and Cry will be releasing a new album on 30th November entitled Xmasday. The album, which contains a mixture of brand new Hue and Cry tracks along with some classic songs and seasonal favourites, takes the listener on a typical Christmas day journey, from the early morning air of excitement, through all the ensuing fun and festivities, to the contented end of the day. It’ll be available as ten track CD and digital download. The album will also be available as part of the Deluxe Limited Edition Gift Box.

We are excited to confirm that Hue and Cry will be releasing a brand new studio album entitled ‘Xmasday’ on 30th November 2009.

As the title suggests, the album will be Christmas themed and will contain a mixture of both brand new Hue and Cry material and some classic seasonal favourites.
